Did you know that the USO has more than 20,000 volunteers around the world? Volunteers are the heart of the USO mission and provide a crucial role by ensuring we are strengthening the well-being of the people who serve and their families. The USO in Michigan has volunteer opportunities at USO Centers and as an Outreach & Special Events Volunteer.
Volunteer at a USO Center
In Michigan, the USO operations one seasonal center at Camp Grayling in Grayling Michigan which is the largest National Guard Training Facility in the United States. This USO center provides a home away from home for military service members to rest and recharge during their military trainings. In addition to rest and relaxation, we provide events and activities to boost morale. USO Volunteers welcome guests, prepare food and refreshments, assist with events, and more!
